Grace Church has two Sunday morning services: the first is at 8:45 a.m. and the second at 10:45 a.m.
The service includes hymns (contemporary and traditional), prayers and a sermon which explains and applies a Biblical passage.
Child care is provided at both services. At the 8:45 service children 4 years through elementary school remain in the service before gathering for children’s church during the sermon. At the 10:45 service during the sermon time children meet with their own age group for Sunday school (ages 3 - high school).
Adult Sunday school classes meet from 10:00-10:35 a.m. every Sunday.
Every month we share the Lord’s Supper and have a church prayer meeting and church lunch.
Small groups are an essential part of our church life. At every small group, we look at God’s word, apply it to our lives and pray for one another. At small groups, many friendships are made and deepened. Grace Church endeavors to run small groups throughout the week to fit different schedules.
Currently there is a home fellowship group in Old Greenwich (Tuesday) and a mid-week Bible study which meets Wednesday at the Woman's Club. Christianity Explored, a course looking into the claims of Jesus meets periodically throughout the year on Wednesdays.
The Women’s Bible study meets on Tuesday mornings in Greenwich; childcare is available. There is also an early morning Bible study in New York City for men who work there.
The Men’s Quarterly provides an opportunity for the men of Grace Church to study what the Bible has to say about being men of Christ. The goal is to become better followers of Christ, better husbands, fathers and working professionals.
The Women of Grace meet quarterly to encourage one another in their relationship with Christ, enjoy fellowship and invite friends.

No one is too young to be taught about following Jesus. The purpose of our children’s ministry is to point children to Christ by carefully teaching them the Bible through the power of the Holy Spirit and to connect children with the church by applying God’s Word within the context of a friendly and engaging atmosphere where children can build relationships. On Sunday during the 8:45 service the children (ages 4 – elementary school) remain in the service before gathering for children’s church during the sermon time. At the 10:45 service during the sermon time children meet with their own age group (ages 3 - high school) for Sunday school, where the Bible is taught in an enjoyable, creative and appropriate way by a team of committed adults.
A nursery with professional babysitters and volunteers is provided for children three and under for the full duration of the service.
Our middle and high school students meet together every Sunday during the sermon time at the 10:45 service to study God’s word, chat, share their lives and pray for one another.
vacation bible school
Each summer Grace Church hosts Vacation Bible School – a program for the children of Grace Church and their friends in the community to learn about Jesus Christ from the Bible in a fun way. We have Bible lessons, skits, music, crafts and games for children ages 4 to 12.
friday night fellowship
Friday Night Fellowship is an opportunity for warm and relaxed Christian fellowship for the whole family. Our purpose is to grow in both our relationship with God and our relationships with each other by encouraging one another in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is also a great opportunity to invite friends!
We meet quarterly on a Friday night with adults sharing dinner, fellowship and a topical Bible study followed by group discussions.
Children, ages four through elementary school, eat dinner together before the adults and then go off to enjoy a Bible lesson, with singing, crafts, and activities. Childcare is available for children 3 and under.
We hope that you will join us for an evening of good learning, good fellowship, and good fun!
Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus is, what he did, and what it means to follow him.
The course is designed to be relaxed and informative. You’re not asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
We also hosting occasional conferences to help train churches to run this course. For more information contact Ham Hadden at (203) 918-2163

Each fall we host a one day preaching conference to encourage pastors in their expository preaching. At Grace Church we have a strong conviction that preaching is central to Pastoral Ministry. Our Church motto is this: “When the Bible is taught carefully, God’s voice is heard clearly.”
We have held several conferences with well known Bible expositors including Dick Lucas, David Jackman, Christopher Ash and Willie Philip.
This year we welcome Angus MacLeay. Angus was converted while studying law at Oxford
University. After a few years as a lawyer he trained for the ministry within the Church of England. After being a curate in Manchester, vicar in Carlisle, he became Rector of St. Nicholas. Angus is chairman of a group seeking to maintain an evangelical witness in the Church of England. His books include Teaching 1 Peter, Teaching 1 Timothy and Introducing 1 & 2 Thessalonians.
